Some of are of the ilk where we clean up for company by throwing things into a box to get things looking good. Some of married people of that ilk. This approach has it’s pluses and minuses, and I’ll say no more of that right now. But sometimes there are fun surprises. Tuesday I opened a box and found a random assortment of stuff. I think that I had been cleaning my desk off before people came over for Christmas. In the box I found 2 empty scrapbook albums, half of a sewing project I had apparently been cutting out, some random jewelry of the costume-variety, and two knit hats. One I had looked for just before Sundance and been sad not to find it, but the other I had completely forgotten. Happy Surprise! Here is a selection of photos I took of it being worn. The first is me wearing it as a snood, the others as a traditional beret.
