This is a tough list. There are quite a few shows I’d love to have seen more of within their run, but I don’t feel like I miss because they came to graceful ends. For example, I think that Lost came to a very nice end, but I wouldn’t mind if they had made more of it. Probably the same with Battlestar Galactica. I’m still watching season 5 of Angel, but I feel like it had more stories to tell. And I love the last episode of Due South as much as almost any TV episode ever. Maybe the most.

TV shows I wish would come back

Due South
Caprica
Battlestar Galactica
Lost
Angel
Dollhouse
Family Ties
Arrested Development

I find when I think about my absolute dreamspace it’s a combination craft room and yoga studio with lots of room to dance around, to exercise, to meditate, and to craft.

My dreamspace would include

Filtered water (the kind that doesn’t give me reflux)
Bright but soothing colors, probably white walls
Jewel tones?
All of the space I need to organize everything so it will be neat looking and easy to find
Attractive storage options
Lots of bookshelves
A big pegboard to hold all of life’s doodads
A good sound system
A Wii
A nice meditation cushion
Nice scents… maybe something in apple-cinnamon
Big windows with a view of lots of trees and greenery in the summer, snow in the winter, dramatic storms the rest of the year
A few plants, maybe a tree in a pot. Maybe a orange tree?
A really, really comfortable chair with good lumbar support
A huge table for cutting out sewing patterns, quilt pieces,  and blocking fiber crafts. Something white that won’t get scratched when I cut things on it
Wooden floors that don’t squeak

The first draft of this list was just two disease cures and a wish for effective allergy meds, and it sort of made me sad to look at it, so this is the second draft.

Inventions I wish were real

Effective allergy meds
A way to keep fruit indefinitely fresh in it’s original, non preserved, non-frozen state
Self-sizing clothing that conforms to your body without any work on your part
A good cure for cancer (one that doesn’t destroy a person)
Self-color adjusting furniture (so the couch that looks great in morning light wouldn’t seem so dull in the middle of the afternoon)
A good cure for AIDS
Some sort of personal shield that would prevent me from hearing other movie-goers talking in movie theaters

The possibilities for this list were lengthy and vacillated between dull-as-dirt and hopelessly inappropriate. So this list is.. curated, shall we say?

This list almost sent me back to Photoshop so I could include photos, but I don’t have photos of a lot of outfits that I love on me, and I felt like I’d lose two hours online looking for examples of the styles I like, so I decided to stick to the list concept and just list a few ideas.

My favorite outifts to wear

Are casual
Can be worn for work or play
Involve jeans
Usually involve a cardigan
Involve cute flats

There are certain lists that I write and them almost instantly didn’t want to publish, because they were either embarrassing or I thought they made me look lazy. But let’s face it, we all procrastinate from time to time, and it doesn’t mean we don’t get the job done. Just that we don’t get the job done quickly.

Things I Do To Procrastinate

Web surf
Play DS
Watch TV
Read celebrity gossip
Farmville
Frontierville
Yarn shopping
Craft supply shopping

This list is where I started losing steam on the lists. I really enjoyed typing them up, having a writing prompt, but when this one came up I was kind of depressed and having a hard time seeing straight, and I couldn’t, for the life of me, think of anything that motivated me other then going back to bed. With the judicious use of some exercise, some supplements, some sunshine, and some meditation I find that I am feeling much better, so instead of giving you the original list, I give you a modified and improved one.

Things that motivate me
Cupcakes
Sweets of any kind, really
Getting to shop for yarn
Getting to see an empty to do list
Ease of finding stuff
Having a comfortable home
Travel
Learning something new
